Stitch Fix #4 Review

My fourth Stitch Fix comes in 2017 and I’m excited to ring in the new year with some new clothes. Stitch Fix #3 was a hit and I’m hoping this is the same. I told my stylist to keep the items more towards the lower priced range because it’s after the holidays and I don’t have too much money to spend. Most of the items are around $50, so I know it’s hard to go below that, but I’m really hoping she tried!Papermoon Lucasta Knit Top, size XS – Retail $38
Like the striped shirt, thought it was cute, but I don’t like the bright coral sleeves. It’s a bit too bright for me (it’s much brighter in person) and it really doesn’t suit my style. The knit top does feel really nice and seems like it’s made from good quality material. The coral sleeves are a big NO for me.

Kut from the Kloth, size 0P – Retail: $88
These jeans are beautiful! I love the color, I think they can match a lot of things in my closet. Big turn off for me though is the price. Though these look like a pair of well made jeans, it’s well above my price range, especially since I indicated to my stylist that I’m looking for lower priced items.
Also – the length was still too long for me! Even for a 0P! That pretty much solidified my ‘No.’ Had they fit well on me, I would’ve bought them in a heartbeat; I have yet to find a pair of jeans that I don’t need to hem!
Romolo Preston Carved Crescent Bib Necklace – Retail: $28
I thought this necklace was pretty cute. I just bought a necklace from my 3rd stitch fix, so I’m really not looking to purchase another yet. Sadly, it will have to go back.
Skies are Blue Delanie Belted Shirt Dress, size XS – Retail: $68
When I pulled it out of the box, I knew it was a no. The pattern just looked too old and dated for me. Plus, I didn’t like the belt. It bunches the fabric too much and leaves the excess hanging in my mid-section. Not something I want to draw attention to. Return!
RD Style Sonole Open Cardigan, size XS – Retail $68
This was my favorite item out of the entire fix. I love how the front of the cardigan drapes down. I think it’s really pretty. But yet again, the sleeves are too long for me (le sigh). Though I really like the fit of it, I just couldn’t say yes, knowing how awkwardly long the sleeves are. Plus, as a petite person, I don’t think I want a cardigan that goes down to my knees; it’ll only make me look smaller.

Stitch Fix actually contacted me when I wrote my feedback on this Fix. They wanted to make it up to me for my Fix not meeting my expectations. They waived the fee for my next one, so I decided to give them a shot. What the heck right? I’m hoping that #5 is much better than this. Otherwise, Stitch Fix might be a loss for me altogether.
What did you think of this Fix? Have you gotten one yourself?

Wow, everything in this box looks great! To be honest, this was the first time I saw a good Stitch Fix box. I shied away from giving it a try after seeing what the other bloggers posted what they received; like, they all looked like dowdy mom stuff. However, your box looks great! I think my favorites are the grey cardigan and black shirt dress; they'd look so cute together with opaque black leggings, and sued wedge booties (like TOMS' 'Desert').

Oooohhh I do love that cardigan. I don't like that dress – unless I needed something to go to a retro themed party. I might like the jeans, though. Can't wait to see the next box!
